TECHNOLOGY
Digital Healthcare is a Microsoft Gold Partner and its OptoMize product for systematic
population healthcare screening was awarded the Microsoft Healthcare User Group
(MSHUG) award for Acute Care - Clinical/Patient Information Systems in 2006.
Digital Healthcare's solutions are built on the Microsoft.NET platform. This gives
Digital Healthcare exceptional capability in delivering customised variations to
its core products to meet customer specific needs. In addition, rapid development
and deployment means Digital Healthcare is able to exploit its core product competencies

POPULATION BASED HEALTH SCREENING
Digital Healthcare's principle area of business is providing standards (ENSPDR,
CfH, NPfIT FDA) compliant information solutions and professional services to implement,
manage and support systematic population based screening programmes. Digital Healthcare
has proven experience in implementing information solutions to support screening
programmes, understanding and fully complying with national guidelines and standards,
identifying patient cohorts, interfacing with clinical systems to acquire eligible
patients, call & recall processes and procedures, delivering clinically safe services
and providing data and reports that allow for local and national monitoring, management
and performance improvement.
DIABETIC RETINAL SCREENING
Digital Healthcare has successfully deployed over 40 operational Diabetic Retinopathy
Screening programmes in the UK, including the national all Wales Diabetic Retinopathy
Screening programme. In total those programmes have over 1.2 Million patients registered
with over 8 Million retinal images under management.
RETASURE
In the US the Company's Retasure service to detect signs of retinopathy and eye
disease in diabetic patients is used by nearly 900 physicians in 19 states.
CLINICAL OPHTHALMOLOGY
Clinical Ophthalmology has advanced rapidly in recent years with the introduction
and widespread use of new instrument technologies, clinical interventions and treatment
options. Technology to integrate and disseminate the information, leading to improved
care and outcomes has not kept pace. Digital Healthcare's OcuLab product is designed
to integrate, manage and share information across the clinical enterprise.
The product is used by some of the World's leading Ophthalmology Departments, including
The Wilmer Institute in Baltimore MD, to integrate clinical instruments and distribute
information across their institutions.
